Match scoring format
How a single match is scored and won.

Each match is played to 7 games, standard scoring, with a maximum of 13 games. The first team to reach 7 games wins the match.

At 6–6

The thirteenth game is a 7-point tie-break — first to 7, win by two. The tie-break score is recorded alongside the games.

How points are allocated
The rules behind the numbers.

Both players earn the team's points

Points are awarded to the team. Both players in the pair receive the full amount, so partners always share the same points from a result.

Points are set by where you lose

A team's points come from the round it was knocked out — losing the semi-final earns semi-finalist points, and so on. The champion earns the full champion points.

Byes & walkovers

A bye (top seed auto-advancing) does not earn points on its own — it simply moves the team forward. A walkover counts as a win and advances the winner; the losing team is out and earns points for the round it was knocked out of.

Tie-breaks don't change points

The tie-break only decides the match winner. It has no separate effect on the points awarded — points depend purely on the bracket and the round reached.

Worked example
How a team collects points across a tournament.

A men's doubles pair wins their first main-draw match, then loses in the semi-final. They drop into the back draw and win it.
